First post

For a long time I've thought there was something faintly embarassing about blogging, as it relates to me at any rate, I'm quite fond of other people's. But still, I'm here now.

Well, quite. I vascillate. I had a journal on AMPnet for years and people enjoyed it, and I enjoyed writing it, and then suddenly the whole thing got too personal as more and more people knew who 'AMP' was and I lost the luxury of being anonymous in public. Once you're reconciled to that loss of anonymity, though - and adjust your output accordingly - blogging can be fun. So... hello!
